The "Worst Idea First" Workshop: Unconventional Product Discovery

conferenceBerlinon meetup

Your host this month at the Berlin Collaborative Modeling Meetup is returning collaborative modeling champion Arpita Mukherjee! Description Ever feel stuck trying to brainstorm the *perfect* feature or product strategy? The pressure to be brilliant right out of the gate can completely freeze a team's creativity. It’s time to throw the rulebook out the window. Welcome to Worst Idea First—an interactive, high-energy workshop night where we compete to design the absolute worst, most disastrous, user-unfriendly product experiences imaginable. Why are we doing this? Because removing the fear of failure unlocks incredible innovation. By intentionally designing the worst possible solutions, we break the ice, laugh a lot, and bypass our creative blocks. The real magic happens in the second half of the night, where we take those terrible ideas and "flip" them into brilliant, risk-mitigated product strategies you can actually use. Who is this for? Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Engineers, Founders, and anyone curious about creative problem-solving. No prior preparation or elite design skills are required—just bring your worst intentions and your brightest ideas.
